Dvořák: Mass in D & Rutter: Requiem

Windsor & Eton Choral Society's next concert combines Antonin Dvořák's Mass in D major with John Rutter’s Requiem.

The Dvorak Mass is a gloriously lyrical work – a Proms audience of 6000 burst into applause in the middle of the opening Kyrie.

Rutter’s setting of the Requiem needs no introduction with its brilliant joyful ‘Sanctus’ and haunting 'Out of the deep'.  It enjoyed 500 performances in the US alone in the first six months after publication.

All this in the beautiful historic setting of Eton College Chapel.
