A performance of Elgar's The Music Makers, which sets to music an ode celebrating musicians, including a section using the Nimrod theme.

Also featuring Parry's I Was Glad and choral hymns from Holst's Rig Veda.

All performed in the atmospheric space of St John's church, Standishgate, Wigan.
