Faure Requiem and Haydn Little Organ Mass

This first concert of the Ely Choral Society's new season takes place in Ely Cathedral, conducted by Andrew Parnell. They are joined by soloists Rebecca Duckworth and Jonathan Midgley as well as Glen Dempsey, the new assistant director of music at Ely Cathedral.  In addition to Faure's Requiem in D Minor and Haydn's Little organ Mass, the choir will also sing Insanae et Vanae Curae by Haydn. Glen Dempsey will play Mozart's Fantasia in F Minor for organ. 

The concert contrasts the spirit of Haydn with the spirituality of Faure in the magnificent setting of Ely Cathedral under the Octogen Tower.
