A Harvest of Autumn Music
South London Singers
The South London Singers are very pleased that their new Director, Nicholas Wibberley, will be conducting his first concert with the choir. It’s a varied programme of choral works to suit all tastes. Dvorak’s Mass in D is a favourite with choir and audience but Malcolm Williamson’s colourful and rhythmic Harvest Thanksgiving is new to the choir. The autumn and harvest-inspired programme will be accompanied on organ and piano by Alasdair Friend.
This will be the first of South London Singers four concerts this season and will be held in the fine St George’s Church which is well known for its Parish Church choir as well as the many arts events held there throughout the year.
