This Refugee Week, Our international team of musicians explore culture and conflict with 100 children from four primary schools across Greater Manchester.
This concert will feature original songs written by the school children and traditional music influenced by Syrian, Roma and refugee cultures.
Even after escaping conflict or persecution to come to the UK, many refugee and asylum seeker children still feel isolated and misunderstood. Harmonise is Music Action International’s national school programme inspiring empathy between refugees and children of all backgrounds.
