Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra Summer Concert

Crowthorne Symphony Orchestra

For our summer concert on June 29th the orchestra is delighted to welcome back soloist Tom Hicks for Brahms' Piano Concerto No 2. Tom performed Brahms Concerto No 1 with us in the autumn of 2015, and we're looking forward to working with him again. The concertos - written at different stages of Brahms' life and separated by a gap of 22 years - were described by Stephen Hough as "two of the greatest pillars of the Romantic repertoire". The programme is completed with Tchaikovsky's emotional and expressive 4th Symphony.
