Before They Become Famous XIII

Middlewich and District Concert Society

For the thirteenth consecutive season the Middlewich and District Concerts Society is delighted to welcome a group of young musicians from Junior Royal Northern College of Music. On each of their previous visits they have enthralled us with their verve and quality and will soon be with us again for “Before They Become Famous XIII”.

As students at the Junior Royal Northern College of Music they show tremendous commitment, since the tuition is in addition to their normal school activities. This year there will be four students, again with a wide variety of styles and sounds – Tom Amigoni (double bass), Alexandra Clarke (flute), Matthew Still-Blundell (guitar) and Saffron Doherty (voice), with piano accompaniment by David Jones where appropriate. What they will all play and sing will be revealed on the night, but our previous experiences lead us to expect a fascinating evening of music, with the distinct possibility of the surprise performance of the season.
