Perth Symphony Orchestra Autumn Concert
Perth Orchestral Society
The concert opens with Butterworth's Rhapsody on a Shropshire Lad, a hauntingly beautiful piece by a composer who died at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.
There follows a rare chance to hear the seldom performed Beethoven's Triple Concerto, for violin, cello and piano, performed by a trio of distinguished Scottish based soloists.
The second half of the concert presents Brahms' majestic 4th Symphony.
£14 (£12 concessions) (including booking fee). Two kids (under 16) go free with a paying adult.
