Born in Bucharest, Florian Mitrea has been based in the UK for over a decade, and has won a host of prizes for his solo and chamber music performances. He has performed all over the world, including at Carnegie Hall and across Europe and Asia: Martha Argerich, among others, has praised the beauty of his playing. His programme includes some of the most technically challenging music in the solo piano repertoire.
