Emma Johnson shot to fame as the winner of the BBC Young Musician of the year competition in 1984. She is one of few clarinettists to establish an international solo career and appears with many of the world’s leading orchestras.

Emma's partner for our recital will be the pianist John Lenehan – in demand as a soloist as well as being a successful composer and arranger. Their recital will cover familiar classics to jazz with Gershwin’s tribute to Benny Goodman.
