A Celebration of Puccini
Sussex Symphony Orchestra
A Celebration of Puccini
Sunday July 15th
Dome Concert Hall, Brighton, 6.pm.
Our official concert to celebrate 25 years of music making in Sussex.
Tonight we celebrate the sumptuously beautiful music of Giacomo Puccini.
We have actor Richard Hawley (Coronation Street) as Puccini, who will be ‘interviewed’ by the extremely popular BBC TV South’s presenter, Sally Taylor.
We will be visiting Puccini’s work from the very beginning to the very end, finishing at the end of his opera ‘Turandot’, with many famous and well loved moments from his operas and symphonic works.
Two of this county’s finest singers and great friends of the orchestra, Joanna Appleby and Andrew Rees will be heard in arias and duets, interspersed by magical numbers for solo orchestra.
This is an eagerly awaited concert and early booking is advised, we only have 1600 seats available!
