MUSIC FROM SPAIN, PORTUGAL AND THE NEW WORLD

Brighton Consort (director James Dixon) will be presenting a programme entitled “Spanish Gems and Mexican Gold” on Sunday January 21st in Holy Trinity Church, Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex at 4.00pm. The concert will include choral and instrumental works from six centuries, exploring the influence of the music of Spain and Portugal on that of Mexico – and vice versa. The choir will be joined by Nick Houghton (chamber organ).
