Concert - Mozart, Schumann & Brahms

Keynsham Orchestra

This concert presents three works from the German speaking world. Opening with Mozart's wonderful overture to The Magic Flute, the main item in the first half is the Cello Concerto by Robert Schumann, featuring Joe Pritchard as the cello soloist. Joe has been a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the year, and plays the Schumann concerto with real authority and understanding. In the second half, the orchestra will play the second symphony by Johannes Brahms.
