Chelmsford Singers

The Singers' November concert is a sparkling programme of music for choir and small orchestra, including the rarely-performed A Song of David by English composer Harold Darke, Leonard Bernstein's dramatic Chichester Psalms, (which includes discarded music from his musical West Side Story), and Maurice Durufle's colourful and moving Requiem, in the version for small orchestra.  From the bright joy to gentle consolation, the concert programme will showcase both choir and orchestra in music demanding to perform but accessible to listen to.
