Free Workshop

Ainsdale Village Singers

Our new Musical Director, Stewart Hankinson, is hosting a Choral Workshop at Ainsdale Village Church Hall on Saturday 26 August, 2017.  There will be welcome coffee and tea on arrival at 10am followed by a session on vocal and choral techniques.  Improve breathing, resonance and diction, understand tuning, blending and energising.  Explore the Alexander technique.  There will be a lunch break when participants can either bring a packed lunch or eat out in Ainsdale village.  The afternoon session will commence at approximately 1.30pm when Stewart will explore choral repertoire and conduct us in some simple pieces.  

We invite anyone who loves to sing and who would like to join a friendly, enthusiastic and inclusive group.  Whether you are a complete novice or have sung for years, you will find the day to be a worthwhile experience.
