Songs of The Land: a musical journey through Britain, Bavaria and beyond

Pentland Singers

  The theme for the 2022 summer concert is Songs of the Land with music from Britain, Bavaria and Beyond. The programme will include Sprig of Thyme (trad arr. Rutter), Toward the Unknown Region (Vaughan Williams) and Songs from the Bavarian Highlands (Elgar) conducted by musical director Ian Munro.

Also included in the programme a fun selection of songs sung by the Pentland Junior Singers conducted by their musical director Rebecca Pennykid plus a solo piano work performed by Ailsa Aitkenhead accompanist and Piano soloist.
