SCS and SSO - Mozart Requiem

Stevenage Choral Society and Stevenage Symphony Orchestra are excited to be performing Süssmayer's adaptation of the Mozart Requiem for the 2017 Stevenage Festival.

Intriguing and mysterious, this famous piece provides a fascinating and emotionally stirring auditory experience. We hope you'll come and enjoy this truly moving performance. To find out the full intriguing history of this piece you'll have to come to the concert to read the programmme notes!

The other half of our programme will be provided by Stevenage Symphony Orchestra and is titled "Prelude, Intermezzo and Waltz". A wide variety of Orchestral Melodies from the world of Ballet and Opera including excerpts from Swan Lake and Cavalleria Rusticana. Event is part of the Stevenage Festival - so this concert is terrific value and should be good fun to listen to, with something for everyone and comfortable seating.
