Antiphon

Antiphon, the Hexham-based chamber choir conducted by John Roper, presents music celebrating wine, women and war, and the gods Bacchus, Venus and Mars.  We include music by Purcell, Pearsall, Morley, Monteverdi, and the spectacular "La Guerre" by Clement Janequin.

Venu: Aydon Castle, near Corbridge, NE45 5PJ.  The grounds and castle will be open from 6.15pm for picnics.  Music will be performed in various locations in the castle and grounds (all indoors if it rains).  Bring your own picnics and chairs.
