Collegium Singers Concert - Musical Masters of Rome

Collegium Singers

Concert by Collegium Singers – Musical Masters of Rome

Music Director – Ian Webb-Taylor

Choral concert of sacred and secular works from Rome covering 500 years from Palestrina to Morricone with works by Victoria, Scarlatti, Pitoni and others.

Collegium Singers are delighted to be returning to the Church of St Peter & St Paul in North Curry with their Guest Director Ian Webb-Taylor and this programme of music, largely composed in Rome.

The concert coincides with the Church’s celebration of its patrons St Peter & St Paul, both of whom have strong associations with that city; the music we shall perform includes works by some of the long succession of musicians who were either born or have worked in Rome and who between them represent almost 5 centuries of inspirational composition.
