Former child prodigy, Julian left this country to enter the University of Indiana Music School at the age of 13 years, performing his recital Diploma examination at the end of that year! His tremendous technical skill brought him many plaudits, and he eventually left to study with Sabine Meyer in Germany. He has performed all over the world, including in the Proms. Still only 27 , he seeks further stimulation through playing with his Jazz Septet. Often seen and heard at Ronnie Scott's Club.
