Traditional Carol Concert

Axminster and District Choral Society

Director of Music Peter Parshall promises a traditional family event with opportunities for the audience to join in the singing of well-known carols to include Hark the Herald and O Come all ye Faithful. The large four part choir will also sing two choruses from Handel’s Messiah: “And The Glory of the Lord” and “For unto us a Child is Born”. There will be arrangements of Jingle Bells and Deck the Halls. The choir of St Mary’s RC School, Axminster will perform We’re walking in the air from “The Snowman”. The school strings and wind groups will also contribute with Jingle Bells and The First Nowell .
