Come and Sing Messiah

Do you like to make sure you get your annual fix of Messsiah? Has it been a while since you last sang it? Or would you like the chance to spend a day honing your semi-quaver technique ready for your choir's next performance? We invite singers from the North East to spend a day working on some of the most popular choruses of Messiah under the leadership of our Musical Director, Dr Julian Wright. The workshop will cover vocal line and technique, along with questions of style and interpretation, all in the context of an approach that emphasises strongly supported singing throughout.

The workshop will be at modern pitch and will use the Novello Watkins Shaw edition of Messiah: copies will be available to borrow free of charge, but please bring your own if you have one.
