Perth Orchestral Society

In the first half of the programme, PSO will perform a selection of lively classical works:
Rossini: William Tell Overture - needs no introduction!
Bizet's Carmen Suite No 1 (including the Aragonaise, the Toreadors song and other familiar tunes)
Tam O'Shanter Overture by Malcolm Arnold, which evokes the drunken and devilish revelry of Robert Burns's poem

They will be joined on stage by Perth Youth Orchestra in the second half, to play music from screen and stage, including "How to Train Your Dragon", "Lord of the Dance" and Danzon No 2 by Marquez.

An upbeat and uplifting evening is guaranteed. Booking is advisable as this is sure to be a popular event.
