William Byrd Singers

A mixed and entertaining programme of music showcasing the versatility of the William Byrd Singers. The choir will by joined on this occasion by superb harpist Maxine Molin to perform Holst’s Hymns from the Rig Veda (Group 3) and other lighter pieces. Music by Vaughan Williams (English Folk Song settings), Poulenc (Chanson à boire), Saint-Saens (Calme des nuits), Seiber (Nonesense Songs), contrasts wonderfully with works by Byrd, Shaw & McDowall.
