Wales member meetup (online event)

About the event:

Are you in a music group in Wales? Would you like to hear from other music groups in Wales on how they've improved recruitment or increased their volunteers or made their performances more accessible? Or maybe you'd like to share a challenge you have?  This is an opportunity to explore specific issues affecting leisure-time music making in Wales and to share our successes.

For this upcoming meetup, we'll be focusing on how we can use the upcoming Senedd elections to ask our candidates what we want from them.
Better, more affordable rehearsal venues? More recognition of our group to improve local culture? Let's brainstorm together the important issues we will be asking of our candidates and why we need their support!
Miranda Glen, Wales manager, will be leading this session.

In this meetup we’ll:

  • give an update on the latest news, challenges and opportunities for leisure-time music groups in Wales

  • facilitate a discussion where you can talk through your group's issues and possible solutions

There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the event.
