Alex Poulton
I’m a 46-year-old baritone with 20 years of experience, trained at Birmingham Conservatoire, The Liszt Ferenc Academy in Budapest, and The Guildhall School of Music, where I’m a Junior Fellow. I regularly perform in recitals, singing a diverse repertoire including Schubert’s song cycles, Finzi’s “Let Us Garlands Bring,” Wolf’s “Italienisches Lieder,” Schumann’s “Dichterliebe,” and Debussy’s “Fêtes Galantes.” I also enjoy contemporary music and often sing composers like Mark Anthony Turnage, Alison Bauld, and Peter Dickinson.
