Arie Dakesian

I am a classical guitarist pursuing a Master’s in Performance at the Royal College of Music, studying with Gary Ryan, Christopher Stell, and Carlos Bonell. A Houston Family Scholar and a Julian Bream Trust awardee, I am supported by several leading trusts. In 2024, I became a Tillett Debut Artist, only the fifth guitarist to do so since 1995. Born in Beirut to an Armenian family, my diverse musical upbringing shapes my music-making. Recent performances include Kings Place, Royal Albert Hall, and Wigmore Hall.
