Webinar recording: Find out more about Gospel music

In this recording of our webinar (original event 24 June 2022), guest speakers talked about gospel music and how you can incorporate it into your music group.

We welcomed:

  • Audrey Gray, CEO of the GMIA (Gospel Music Industries Alliance), and herself a musician, who will give us some background on gospel music and where it sits in the UK musical landscape today
  • Karen Gibson MBE, founder and choir director of The Kingdom Choir, a group of like-minded artists dedicated to creating a sound that demonstrates the community they share. The Kingdom Choir has been performing up and down the country and all around the world for over 20 years. Karen has made headlines with her gospel choir performing at events such as Prince Harry and Megan Markle’s Royal Wedding and Her Majesty The Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations in 2002. She has also acted as the choir conductor for the 1995 VE Day Celebrations, the 2007 Concert For Diana, Pope Benedict XVI’s visit to England and the Gospel Prom at the Royal Albert Hall.
