Band of the Surrey Yeomanry

The Band of the Surrey Yeomanry is a 30 to 40 piece concert band based in Reigate and Redhill. Originally formed in 1964 as the official band of the Surrey Yeomanry (Queen Mary’s Regiment), the band is now managed as a regular concert band, but maintains an affiliation with the Regimental Association. Michael Withers has been musical director of the band since 2015 and has directed and conducted performances in a variety of locations including Eastbourne Bandstand, Westminster Abbey Gardens and Coram. The band rehearses weekly on Monday evenings at St. John the Evangelist church in Redhill.
