Borders Chamber Orchestra

About

The orchestra was created in July 2023 to enable experienced amateur musicians to play classical orchestral music together in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Concerts normally take place in Melrose Parish Church and surplus proceeds are donated to a charity with a local connection selected for each concert. Instrumentalists are drawn from the Scottish Borders, Northumberland and Lothian including Edinburgh. We normally have only one rehearsal on the afternoon of a concert with instrumental parts made available in advance. Playing is by invitation only but enquiries are welcome through our website from experienced instrumentalists.
