Burnley Municipal Choir

We are a friendly, four part choir who established a Recovery Group earlier in 2021 to resume singing as and when relaxation of Covid restrictions were lifted. A number of outdoor social events took place and then rehearsals outside were started in May. Eventually, we were able to move indoors. Our aim continues to be to bring to our audiences less familiar works as well as old favourites. This season the first concert in October is a performance of Carmina Burana with a first half of old favourites including Handel’s Zadok the Priest. In December sees us sing Handel’s Messiah with a Christmas Concert later in the month.
