Glasgow Symphony Orchestra

About

Glasgow Symphony Orchestra (GSO) is an amateur orchestra which meets on a Tuesday evening in the West End of
Glasgow. The GSO has been running for over 40 years. Members come from all backgrounds but have a common interest in making music. Members range in age from 18 to over 80 years. Rehearsals start in September and run until end of May/early June. The GSO gives 3 public concerts each year frequently with soloists some of whom are our own Members. We also regularly have soloists from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
