London Gay Symphony Orchestra

The UK's first orchestra for the LGBT+ community, founded in 1996. Full symphony orchestra playing repertoire in general from late classical to contemporary, performing at least 5 concerts per year. Members are welcome regardless of sexuality or gender, just so long as they maintain our core values of respect, friendship and inclusivity. There are no auditions, but players are expected to meet a minimum grade 8 standard as repertoire (selected annually by the membership) is often extremely challenging.
