Medway Singers
About
Medway Singers is a mixed voice (SATB) community choir, under the musical directorship of Neil Jones. We enjoy singing and performing a very wide range of music from 16th century madrigals to classic pop/rock, from Bach and Baccarat to Taverner and Whitacre. We rehearse on Monday evenings at Frindsbury Baptist Church, Strood; although we are not affiliated to any church. Most of our concerts raise money for local and national charities, most recently in support of humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
Although, like all singing groups, we stopped meeting during the pandemic we are now back rehearsing and performing, and always pleased to hear from potential new members who also enjoy singing and would like to join us.
