Serenata Women’s Choir
The choir sings mainly in three parts - soprano, mezzo-soprano and alto, both accompanied and unaccompanied.
Repertoire is chosen from a range of musical genres and includes music from the classical choral tradition, spirituals, arrangements of folk songs and popular favourites. We feature the work of women composers and also feel there are a few songs which benefit from being sung by memory. The choir works towards performances at Christmas and in the spring.
