About
Welcome to the Shrewsbury School Community Choir. We are a long-standing choral society with a strong local reputation. We sing major classical choral works from both past and living composers giving around four concerts a year. Our annual performance of Handel's Messiah in Shrewsbury Abbey just before Christmas is a local tradition. We are a non-auditioning choir and we sing to a good standard. We are very lucky to benefit from the close relationship with Shrewsbury School where we practice and hold some of our concerts. Our Choral Director is the Director of Music at the School.
