Sing or play Danyal Dhondy's choral companion piece to Fauré’s Requiem for free

Danyal Dhondy's Still the Sirens is a new piece commissioned by Making Music specifically for leisure-time groups as a companion piece to Fauré’s Requiem. The parts are available free to Making Music members until September 2020 in digital format.

The new work Still the Sirens is approximately 28-30 minutes long and you can now download the full score and individual parts for free. The piece is for SATB choir plus organ or orchestral forces as detailed below.

The free digital parts are available to members for the 2018-19, 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons. Printed copies can also be hired on request at an exclusive member rate of £30. PRS performing fees will apply as usual. Contact composer Danyal Dhondy to find out more.

SATB (occasional divisi), solo Soprano/Mezzo, solo Baritone, plus either:

  • organ solo
  •;; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; solo violin; 1st violas, 2nd violas, 1st celli, 2nd celli, double bassi (recommended 2-3 players each section, but can be done with 1); or
  •;; 1 perc. (timps, tubular bell in C#), hp, org; strings as per point two.
