Music groups up and down the UK are feeling the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on their activities. In these uncertain times, we think it’s more important than ever for us to help groups get in touch with each other to share learning and ideas, and to support one other. In addition to our UK wide member meet ups, this online meet up for members in Wales will give an opportunity to connect to groups that are geographically closer and to explore any issues specific to Wales.
Our online discussion event for chairs and MM Group Reps of music groups in Wales aims to connect groups with Making Music and each other, and discuss how the pandemic is affecting us all.
Join us online when we’ll:
give a short update on the pandemic’s impact on Making Music and what we are doing to help our members in Wales
raise issues and present opportunities specific to Wales
create smaller discussion groups where you can talk to each other about your current concerns and issues
bring everyone back together again at the end for a summary of our discussions.
We will be using Zoom to host the meeting, which is an online meeting platform, and will send you full instructions on how to join in advance.
