Aeolian Singers warmly invite you to join them for their popular annual celebration of Christmas. The concert of carols and seasonal songs will take place in the sparkling setting of the Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s Church in Boxmoor.
The programme will include Brother Heinrich's Christmas, a fable set to music by John Rutter. We are very pleased to be joined by talented young musicians from St Albans School in the performance of this delightful work : Isabella Sibtain on oboe and and Fleur Owen on bassoon.
Aeolian Singers will also sing Walking in the Air by Howard Blake, Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmas Time and carols old and new. The audience will be invited to join in with singing the traditional Christmas favourites. The Hollybush Recorder Consort will play a medley of seasonal European music.
The concert will be conducted by the Aeolian Singers' musical director, Stephen Jones, with Anna Le Hair on piano and Linden Innes-Hopkins on organ
All seating is unreserved. Ticket price includes a programme.
