There's nothing like a good sing!
Monday evening, and from The Old School Thornhill comes the uplifting sound of a wee group of folk enjoying a good sing! Yes, there is nothing like a good sing to keep the blues away.
So, why not give it a go. You will be welcome indeed into the Dalgarno Singers Choir. And you don't need to read music. Our Music Director, Rory arranges all our pieces to be heard on-line. And this includes separate part recordings. No need to worry about which part you might sing. All you need is to hold a tune.
Enjoyment is the name of the game and Rory is expert at choosing pieces to sing. Modern, classical, Scottish, traditional, international not to mention musicals and show tunes. The variety is huge, with something to appeal to every taste. The great thing is our rehearsals are strong on good humour and enjoyment, so, if you think you might enjoy a sing, you can't go wrong.
The Choir meets on a Monday night – 7.30pm in the newly refurbished Old School Thornhill. A very comforable venue by the way. Cosy in a winter chill!
