Dance!

Get your castanets ready for a thrilling evening of dance-inspired music!

Join us on Saturday 22nd March, as part of the wonderful Classical Sheffield Weekend - three days stuffed to the brim with concerts celebrating the extraordinary range of music here in Sheffield.

We are delighted to be joined by the spectacularly talented Gemma Rosefield (Ensemble 360) for this concert who will perform the deeply moving 'Dance' for solo cello and orchestra by British composer Anna Clyne.

It also marks a very special occasion for our Spanish Musical Director Jon Malaxetxebarria to conduct the gorgeous flamenco-infused ballet "The Three Cornered Hat" by one of Spain's most distinguished composers, Manuel De Falla.

This will also be accompanied by some live dancers from Sheffield, led by fantastic choreographer Georgia Rowan.

All kicked off with the bombastic "Four Scottish Dances" by Malcolm Arnold. A piece that will not fail to make you smile
