Spring Concert

Due to the updated advice from the government in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, Helensburgh Orchestral Society have unfortunately had to cancel this concert.

Helensburgh Orchestral Society's Spring Concert, conducted by Robert Baxter, is on Saturday 21st March at 7.45pm in the Victoria Halls, Helensburgh. The concert includes a performance of the Weber Bassoon Concerto with soloist Fergus Butt. Among his many playing commitments, Fergus is a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland Symphony Orchestra and Principal Bassoon of the West of Scotland Schools Symphony Orchestra.The programme is completed with Sibelius 'Finlandia' and Dvorak's Symphony No 4. Tickets cost £10 and £6 for students (accompanied under 12s admitted free) and are available now from orchestra members and The Scandinavian Shop in Helensburgh or at the door on the night of the concert.
