WOWFest: Wells Orchestral Weekend (patron Charles Hazlewood) is an international festival welcoming youth and amateur choirs, orchestras and bands for a weekend of making music and having fun in the glorious surroundings of Wells, Somerset. Participating ensembles are housed in the boarding houses of Wells Cathedral School or the Premier Inn and all venues and activities are reachable on foot. Each ensemble is invited to perform one solo and one joint performance, take part in an expert workshop tailored to your requirements and enjoy meals and social activities with young musicians from across the world. Wells is England's smallest city outside of the City of London and boasts a stunning gothic Cathedral, a moated medieaval Bishop's Palace and state-of-the-art auditorium Cedars Hall which make magnificent concert venues for all.
