The 63rd Little Missenden Festival is taking place from 6th to 15th October this year. There will be ten days of live music and talks to brighten the autumn featuring an exciting line-up of artists and events including the internationally renowned pianist Angela Hewitt, harpsichord virtuoso Mahan Esfahani, jazz from Ant Law and Alex Hitchcock, a UK premiere by composer Gavin Bryars, choral masterpieces from the Corvus Consort, Romantic chamber music from the Rossetti Ensemble and much, much more. As always the tenth-century church of St John the Baptist will remain at the heart of the Festival. This lovely building – its unique collection of ancient wall paintings enhanced in recent years through Heritage Lottery funding – is a magical, atmospheric place where music, literature and art of the very highest quality can be enjoyed.
More information about all the events together with details on how to order tickets can be found on the Little Missenden Festival website at https://www.little-missenden.org/ and on the festival Facebook page.
