Come and Sing!

A new venture for Louth Choral Society.  This is a chance for anyone to join the choir for a day to sing some well-known choruses from works by Bach and Handel.  There will be 3 warm-up and rehearsal sessions, followed by a performance at 4 o'clock, in the magnificent setting of St James's Church, Louth.

PLEASE DON'T BE SHY! You don't need any choir experience or be able to read music, and you certainly won't be asked to sing on your own.  There'll be a friendly welcome from choir members, who will do all they can to help you.  We all love singing, and hope to be able to share that with anyone who has always thought they'd like to 'have a go'.  And if you already have experience of singing, you'll be welcome too.

Our musical director, Allan Smith, will make sure the day is filled with lighter moments as well as getting the best from everyone.

Registration is from 10 am, with breaks during the day for refreshments.  Although not essential, it would be helpful if you could let us know if you will be coming to this workshop.  Either phone 01472 840234, or email louthchoralsociety@btopenworld.com.  More details of the day's programme on the website www.louthchoral.co.uk

The performance at 4 pm is open to everyone, and will give all the singers the chance to see how much can be achieved in a day!
