South Somerset Music Centre is proud to present a concert by Kevin Hurst.
Kevin’s clarinet playing has been described by the International Clarinet Association as having a “beautiful tone and technical authority”. He has a music degree from York University and performs a wide repertoire with much experience as both a soloist and ensemble player. Following a concert for Chipping Sodbury Music Society, the review read “we were in heaven during the Brahms”. In this concert, in addition to the famous Brahms clarinet Sonata in F minor Op. 120 no. 1, Kevin will be performing Gade’s Fantasy Pieces Op. 43, Weber’s Grand Duo Concertante Op. 48 and Romanze in E flat TrV 80 by Strauss, accompanied by Jonathan Delbridge.
