Soprano Roma Loukes is from Dorset and studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Stockholm Opera Studio. She has a permanent contract at the Stockholm Royal Opera where she performs in the chorus and as a soloist. Her most recent role was Flower Maiden in Mozart's A Marriage of Figaro.
Mikael Onelius is from Söderhamn, Sweden and studied at the Birmingham Conservatoire, the Royal Academy of Music and the Stockholm Opera Studio. He has been employed by the Stockholm Royal Opera since 2018. He has also been engaged by Gothenburg Opera, Garsington Opera and Buxton Opera Festival, among others.
Their programme will feature folk song arrangements of O Danny Boy, Down by the Salley Gardens and Evening prayer from Hansel and Gretel as well as the famous Papageno Papagena duet from Magic Flute, Habanera from Carmen and the beautiful Song to the moon from Rusalka.
