Christmas at Fulneck

Everyone is welcome to St Peter's Singers of Leeds' Christmas Concert on Saturday 1 December 2018 in Fulneck Moravian Church beginning at 7.00pm. The Leeds choir will be joined by principals of National Festival Orchestra and David Houlder at the famous Snetzler/Binns Fulneck Organ together with soloists Jane Burnell, Lucy Appleyard, David Brown & Quentin Brown under the direction of Dr Simon Lindley.

Get your Christmas preparations off to a joyful start with some favourite music: Bach's timeless Advent cantata 'Sleepers, wake' and the Advent and Christmas music from Handel's Messiah frame Gustav Holst's fine Fantasy 'Christmas Day' founded on traditional carols and Vincent Novello's early 19th century setting of Adeste, fideles - otherwise known as 'O come all ye faithful' - being heard at Fulneck with the composer's original orchestral accompaniment just unearthed in the British Library.
