The sum insured will be the most we will pay. If the sum insured is not adequate, any claim will be reduced in proportion to the degree of under-insurance. For example, if your property limit is £10,000 (Gold package) and your insured property increases past this limit, you should let us know and upgrade to ‘Platinum’ cover. If you don’t, you will still be insured up to £10,000, but not for any amount above that.
