We previously emailed Making Music Platform main contacts to advise that on Wednesday 29 May (from 8am onwards) all Making Music Platforms would be migrated onto a new server, however, this migration has now been postponed.
Why has the MM Platform migration been postponed and when will the migration take place?
Before migrating all Making Music Platforms across to the new server, we carried out migration tests on sample sites to ensure the process went as smoothly as possible. During these tests the developer noticed minor issues that need to be resolved before the full migration takes place. We have been advised that these errors should not take long to resolve however, we want enough time to ensure that further tests can be run ahead of the full server migration. Due to this the server migration will be postponed.
We will provide you with further information and a revised date ahead of the server migration so you can prepare and will also confirm on the day once the migration has completed and the MM Platforms are back online.
